With two locations, we’re a great choice for catering service in Raleigh, Wilmington, Greenville, NC & more.
We offer a number of catering options at Sam Jones BBQ. Our boxed lunches are available for groups large or small and can be delivered locally for a $40 fee. With our delivery service, a member of our team will drop off at your desired location and set up your catering order before they leave. If you’d like to have someone attend to your catering throughout your event, we have two different options for you.
Our full-service catering we’re not just bringing the food to you and setting up, our team members will stay through your event, keeping the food hot, serving guests, and helping with cleanup. Our buffet style is similar to our full service option - we’ll be there to keep the line moving and keep all the food well stocked. With both full-service and buffet style catering, we bring plenty of to-go containers to make sure that any leftover food can go home with you or your guests.

Catering FAQ
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE PAPER GOOD SETS ?
This includes a disposable cutlery pack, a foam cup with our logo, and a foam compartment plate.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE SERVICE FEE?
Full-service catering includes staff members being on site for the duration of your event serving, restocking, and cleaning up our serving area. This starts at a 3-hour minimum. Additional hours can be arranged in advance of your event.
HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY?
The delivery fees range from $40.00-$100.00 depending distance from our store.
DO YOU PROVIDE BARTENDERS?
No, unfortunately, we do not provide bartenders.
IS BREAD INCLUDED WITH MY ORDER?
Bread is sold separately.
Sweet potato muffins are 8 to the order for $8.99 Cornbread is available 8 to the order for $6.99 Slider buns are sold by the dozen for $6.99
WHAT DOES YOUR FULL SERVICE SET UP LOOK LIKE?
We bring large wooden boxes to go around the chafing sets and can include tables and linens for the buffet line if you need them. We have a limited number of these available so, please arrange in advance should you be interested.
WHAT WILL THE FOOD BE DELIVERED IN?
The food is delivered in disposable aluminum serving pans.
DO YOU PROVIDE WARMING SETS FOR DELIVERY?
We can provide wire chafing sets on delivery if needed. They are $15 a set.
IS THERE A MINIMUM ON DELIVERIES?
We have a $150 minimum on deliveries before tax and the delivery fee. You are always welcome to pick up from the store without any added fees or minimum.
CAN I PLACE THE SAME DAY ORDER?
You can place a pick-up order for the same day, subject to availability. For large orders, we strongly encourage ordering in advance.
+HAT IF I PLAN ON PICKING MY FOOD UP 30+ MINUTES BEFORE I SERVE IT?
We recommend purchasing wire rack/sterno sets ($15/set). Make sure to ask us for tips on keeping things warm.
